Penis Pumps
Penis pumps were originally developed to help men with erectile dysfunction achieve and maintain an erection. This is the only medically endorsed use of penis pumps, and it has been made all but obsolete by Viagra, Levitra, and other drugs. Nowadays pumps are used by men recreationally to enhance their erections for sex or as an accessory for masturbation; by men who use pumping as part of a regimen that they believe can increase their penis size; and by avid "pumpers" who enjoy using the temporary effects of pumping to enlarge their organs to extremes. The latter sometimes belong to pumping clubs and post photos of their results on the Web for others to view. Keep in mind that pumping as some people practice it can be very dangerous. In some cases, the pumped up tissues can take a week or more to return to normal. And extreme or prolonged pumping can result in permanent damage to blood vessels in the penis and the penile tissues. We cannot endorse prolonged or extreme pumping as practiced by some aficionados, and if you choose to attempt that degree of pumping, you must realize the medical risks you are taking. On the other hand, light to moderate pumping, if done with common sense and for brief durations, can provide both pleasure and a temporarily larger tool. It's About Sucking, Right? The basic engineering of a penis pump is simple to understand. A cylinder to house the penis is attached by a hose to some kind of vacuum pumping device that sucks the air out of the chamber. A gasket or lip around the base of the tube makes a tight-fitting seal with the skin around the cock. As the air is sucked out of the tube by the vacuum pump, the vacuum exerts force on the penis, pulling it further into the cylinder and expanding it with increased blood flow. These four basic types of pumps are the most readily available.
Perhaps because all men are unique unto themselves, there seems to be an avid number of supporters behind each style of pump. Ultimately, it will be up to you to decide which one best suits your needs, personality and wallet. Slowly at First You really don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out which end of the penis tube is which. Put a generous amount of water-based lube all around and in the rubber or latex sealing ring on the mouth of the cylinder. This will help insure a tight seal around the penis and against the body. While you're at it, slop a bunch of that lube all over your cock as well. It will help with insertion of the penis into the tube, especially if your cock is soft. Push your dick through the ring and into the tube until the mouth of the tube is firmly up against your body. Now begin pumping a little bit at a time. Take it slowly at first. Very slowly. Over-pumping can cause minor to serious problems. You can rupture veins and bruise the penis shaft as well as inflicting more permanent damage. It may just sound humorously like a dick hickey, but you should always proceed carefully and know your own limits. A burst blood vessel in the penis will be painful and unsightly, and putting too much pulling force on the penis can strain the ligaments that attach it to the body. With the seal on the cylinder tightly against your body, continue pumping until your cock is firmly erect. Now stop for a moment and take a personal inventory; Does this amount of pressure feel comfortable? Is there any unusual discoloration or veins that look on the verge of exploding? If all seems well, pump a little more and hold, asking yourself the same questions each time you stop. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, open the air valve and release the pressure. You can always pump back up again any time you're ready. As with all aspects of pumping, there is a great deal of debate over how long a pumping session should last. Personally, we think that first-time pumpers should keep their sessions down to about twenty minutes. Work your way up to half an hour or an hour gradually. We know you want that massive cock now, and penis pumps can produce some impressive short term results, but size isn't going to matter at all if you permanently damage your dick. You could wind up in the emergency room with a ruptured schlong, or worse yet, you may become unable to get a normal erection. Is This Gonna Hurt? For many men, the idea of doing anything that might put their favorite organ in jeopardy is daunting. But there are always those lingering questions: What does it feel like? Is it gonna hurt? Males hate to admit it, but we are always curious to hear about ways to pleasure our cocks. Imagine a really good blow-job where you get to be in control of the sucking and how hard. There is no reason it should hurt. If you do experience pain, stop pumping immediately and consult a physician before continuing. Pumping should feel pretty good unless there is a medical problem of some kind. How Much Work Is It Really? The men who claim to have significant long-lasting increase in the size of their tools all seem to agree on one thing: you must get into a regular pumping routine for about six months if you want to see results. Of course, you also have to keep a regular routine going after that if you want those results to be permanent. It's really no different than any other type of regular exercise program. However, as with any other form of exercise, you don't want to overtrain, and you need to allow your body to recover between sessions to avoid injury. Men who report the most success use moderate pumping sessions (about 30 minutes) three to four times a week, allowing recovery time between sessions. This would be the time to mention that enlarging the penis works about the same as other muscle development. You will gain a great deal more in girth than you will in length. If you've always wanted a chubby, then regular pumping may just be the thing for you. But if your hoping to change a six-incher into twelve, at least you'll have fun trying. Cum on and Pump For the less dedicated pumper, penis pumps can be an enjoyable masturbator. By regulating the suction on and off, you can pump yourself into blowing a pretty good load. This is probably the main reason most men pump. What man doesn't enjoy having the cum sucked right out of him? (And you don't have to buy a pump dinner first.) If you're curious about trying a penis pump, the first thing you should do is find an adult toy catalog to look through. Take note of the different types and how they operate. Figure out how much you're willing to spend based on your level of curiosity. The pump could end up gathering dust in the garage with the treadmill and the weight bench you never got around to assembling. Once you choose a pump, be sure to read and follow all operating and safety instructions that come with your model. It isn't a "guy thing" to read directions, but remember this involves the safety of your precious cock. You don't want to over do it your first time. Just take it slow and do only what feels good. Keep checking in with yourself and make sure that you're not experiencing any pain or discomfort. A new toy like a pump can be exciting, but you really have to be careful not to overdo it while you're getting a feel for your comfort level and limits. Allow your member a few days after the session to recover before you pump again. Pumping too frequently increases your susceptibility to injuries.
